Frequently Asked Questions Regarding
The
Jock$tocks Fantasy Championship League (JFCL)
(Updated 5-30-03)
OK, it's short, it's sweet, it's here. An FAQ for the JFCL has arrived!
Q: What is the JFCL?
The JFCL is essentially a fantasy sport league that consists
of multiple fantasy sport leagues. It involves a fantasy sport league in
each of the following sports: PGA, NASCAR, NCAA BB Championship, MLB, NFL, NBA,
and NHL. Participants of the JFCL join each league and based on their
performance are awarded points. The participant with the most points is
the JFCL Champion. It is the ultimate fantasy sport competition.
Q: When did the JFCL Start?
The JFCL started its first season in January 2003.
Q: When can I join?
You can join at the beginning of any JFCL season, which is
prior to the beginning of the PGA and NASCAR seasons, typically the last part of
January of every year.
Q: Where are the different JFCL
leagues?
The JFCL leagues are all maintained through Yahoo!. One
of my founding goals of the JFCL is to keep it FREE or as close to free as
possible. Yahoo! typically has good league management and overall good
rules for all leagues. Until a need to switch to a different fantasy sport
provider, all JFCL sport leagues will operate on Yahoo! which requires
registration, but again, is free. All JFCL league information is posted on
the
Jock$tocks website in the
fantasy forum.
Q: Where can I get more information
about the JFCL?
You can email me,
SayOw and I can try and answer your question as best I can. I also
have Yahoo! instant messaging and my yahoo handle is sayow1.
